What I most remember about PCC is that the professors really do require and promote excellence in the classroom. Just because it is a Christian college doesn't mean that the classwork is easy. Since I graduated from a secular state college with my bachelor's degree, I can say that the master's level work at PCC was truly many levels above what was required of me at state college. Be prepared to work hard and write papers well! The other significant thing I remember about PCC was the preaching by Pastor Schettler and his availability to the graduate students. What I learned in his Sunday School class still bears fruit in my life today. He and his wife were truly "transparent" in showing us that real people, normal people can be used of God if we allow Him to have His rightful place in our lives. |
