The graduate program at PCC is excellent. As a graduate assistant (which paid ALL my bills during the semester!), I had to learn to balance work responsibilities and social life and class work. Work responsibilities ranged from actually teaching classes to working in the college secretarial office to working in academy food service. I was able to see how many areas worked to make a wole of the school. Social opportunities abounded. My own course work was demanding and relevant, but the most beneficial part of classes was the peer interaction with other teachers seeking to become better teachers. I was able to discuss teaching methods with other teachers, gleaning new ideas and perspectives.

Grad school teachers were both the authority (as teachers) and peers (we worked along side them too). They were always approachable and helpful.

The graduate program at PCC helped to make me a better person and a better teacher.
