PCC has many good qualities: campus safety, excellent

Biblical teaching/preaching, and professionalism about everything thing they do. I spent 4 years at PCC and these were the good qualities that stood out for me. (Also, had I not attended PCC I probably never would have met my husband.)

However, there is a down side to the school. I think the staff could have been a little bit friendlier, especially the teachers at the academy. As an intern at Pensacola Christian Academy, I took away a wealth of knowledge, but not always in a good way. My advisory teacher was very rude and sarcastic. The social life at PCC could have been a little better. Yes, they have social events on campus but, what is wrong with a bunch of co-ed students going out together, all scanning out of course, to go to a pizza place and having a good time? PCC staff and faculty are everywhere in the city. A student/students would only be doing themselves a disservice if they decided to go somewhere they should go or do something they shouldn't do.

My PCC experience in a nutshell: I made life long friends, stayed out of trouble, met my future husband a few years later, and got my degree. My advice to you if you are considering PCC: don't come here if you have a hard time following rules and please keep in mind that it is not accredited, which may or may not be an issue depending on where you go to further your education. Not all rules are bad, but some of the rules at PCC were a little ridiculous (i.e., pantyhose everywhere/everyday) and of course the several "unwritten rules".
