First of all, every college has pros AND cons. PCC has very high standards for dress, music, and conduct. Because many students today don't have those standards at home, the rules can seem too strict at times. I didn't agree with some of them, but in the big picture:they weren't more important than a quality education. My teachers were very personable and easy to learn from. The material covered and the clinicals were exactly what I needed to jump right into nursing after graduation. My preceptor and colleagues were amazed at all I could do right out of college. I have precepted many nurses since graduation and have to reteach them alot of the skills I learned at PCC. I came out of college debt free (and I paid 100% of my college); my colleagues graduating from state schools still have tens of thousands of dollars of debt still. Even with Pastor Schettler leaving, I still feel PCC is the best "vocational" Christian College out there.
