I knew them before I went. I agreed to abide by them before I went. If you go in with a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow, the rules will not bother you—you just accept them and go on. The college ought to be under the authority of a local church. The Campus Church operates as a local church, but is run by the college, specifically by its president. The members of the church have little say as to who their pastor is, its teachers, etc. I came to get a Bible degree. I would suggest than anyone doing the same to first get well grounded in a local church Bible institute. PCC is not the place to learn "how to preach." But it will teach character, good study habits, how to deal with difficult people, etc. |
