Beginning in the freshman year, students take an active part in observing, peer teaching, and making visuals that will be used for years to come. I felt very well prepared for my field, and the fact that PCC was on my resume was a huge plus when prospective schools were looking to hire teachers. So I would be able to teach any grade level, I went back to get my graduate degree from PCC in secondary education. If the school's degrees were honored by more secular universities, I would also have been able to teach at local community colleges, but that has not yet been possible. |
