I learned Hebrew and Greek and how to use those tools. I have since found this knowledge to be extremely valuable in preparing messages, counselling, and ministering in the church. I know of no other school that has both the right view of the Word of God (no errors anywhere at any time) and the practical "memorize-it" approach to Biblical languages that I will always be thankful for. From the perspective of a Bible/Pastoral major who grew up in Pensacola Christian School from 3rd grade (1985) through PCC and finally Pensacola Theological Seminary (2003), I saw that this ministry is a place with two constants: carnal Christians complain and godly young people thrive. The spiritual climate of chapel preaching 4 days a week, Bible classes, and required church attendance does not guarantee or make a student spiritual, but it certainly encourages revival and a right heart for God. |
