First, the drawbacks: 1. Baruch won't give a normal college experience. There were no dorms, and no athletics.2. There was a daily commute to NYC.The positives1.Unbelievably inexpensive education2. Top quality instruction and facilities with some top name professors.3. Although Baruch has no campus per se, Manhattan is your campus. I was eating out regularly at different establishments, most of which were very good.4. I made a lot of connections at Baruch and while commuting on the Long Island Rail Road.5. Baruch has an amazing alumni base for support.Overall, it was a fine school and a real steal for the money. |
