The campus is beautiful and it is very diverse. I believe it does not matter what University you go to. You as an individual can make your experience wonderful by taking advantage of the opportunities CSULB has to offer by joining organizations, getting involved and volunteering. And lastly, making use of the expensive textbooks that you are forced to purchase by actually reading them and studying well for exams. Also there are many great professors that has inspired me and changed my perspective of the world. Most of my professors seem very passionate about their field and are great lecturers. The people on campus are usually very friendly if you give them a chance. It is very hard to smile at the end of day after working several hours and going to classes. You don't expect people to smile 247 do you? Like I said in the beginning, it depends on which route you choose when you attend CSULB. The only problem is I don't see many motivated students nowadays. Nowadays its all about going to parties having fun, and cramming 14 chapters in your head a day before the exam which doesn't count as receiving quality education. The teachers have done their part, we just have to do our part! |
