Statistical Analyzer:

For starters, the city of New Brunswick, while having a small up-and-coming area, is a slum-infested, dangerous place to live. And that my friends, is where Rutgers is located. The RU campus is large, unappealing, and disjointed. Be ready for traffic and getting lost on an antiquated university bus system to shuttle you around.

The faculty here, for the most part, act as if they are disappointed to be at Rutgers and not an Ivy League university. The students here think of themselves as a notch under Ivy League, but even bad perceptions can be their reality.

As a whole, I am finding Rutgers to be a cold, impersonal place. The one saving grace is that the tuition for an in-state student (like myself) is affordable.

If you want to attend a university located near a slum, be taught by an indifferent faculty, and appreciate a "cold" feel to college life, than Rutgers is exactly the place for you!
