For one, the school is becoming a lot more selective. There accepting less then half of all applicants which is very good. You'll meet a lot of international kids[if your open minded] that come here because of its prestige and then transfer to Ivy Leagues and what not. People tend not to realize that Oneonta is a top notch liberal arts school at an affordable price. At the rate now, I would not be suprised in future years that Oneonta is comparable to the lifes of Binghamton and Geneseo. This past year , about 10,000 kids applied for about 800 or so spots. The social life is not bad at all. The Main is very nice and clean and gives off a miniature Boston like feel to it. The campus and its facilities are really nice. Anybody who writes bad about the school were probably around in the days when the school could actually be called Stoneonta. |
