I had a great experience while attending NC State and have trouble understanding why several other reviewers have left negative comments. While it is true that NC State's campus' aesthetics are not its strongest point, the city of Raleigh (which is ranked in the top 5 best cities to live in both overall and for singles by several magazines like Fortune, and is also ranked as "the #1 city for jobs" by Fortune) more than compensates for that weakness. Although the engineering and textiles schools are arguably NC State's most reputable programs, every college within the university has top-notch faculty and does a wonderful job preparing students for the work force in whichever field they may be pursuing after graduation. |
