ok after reading these past reviews i feel obligated to straighten everything out because Emerson is hardly getting any of the credit it deserves. Unfortunately, the only people that go to this site are angry students that want to bash their schools, so as a result lots of colleges (like Emerson) are getting misleading reviews. There are LOTS of normal people at Emerson..only very few are the blue haired weirdos that i'm reading about. Take a tour if you don't believe me. The kids here are very normal, average college students. The academics are also very good and get more prestigious each year. The teachers are widely experienced and are working professionals in their respective fields; the most famous of which is Kevin Bright, executive producer of Friends. Another example is my Environment and Humankind teacher, who is paid by National Geographic to study gorillas in Uganda. What I'm trying to tell you is that in reality very few students are not happy here, and you shouldn't handicap yourself by not visiting and making your own decisions. |
