I am from a small town in Ohio a few hours away from Columbus and I was interested in experiencing new things; OSU was a great school to go to for me. People talk about how big the school is and how they would feel like a number, but I have never gotten that feeling. For the most part I have had excellent professors… and I do mean professors. As an example, my freshman year I had a rudimentary geology class with a tenured prof who had just returned from doing research in Antarctica, and has had many of her works published. I have been quite happy in Columbus, and would say don't let the size of the school intimidate you. |
