The college I attended was not resourceful or did not have the job placement programs for student entering the job market. Most colleges have recruitment programs in place for their future graduates , some are regional and national, depending on the unversity's reputation. When I graduated there were little effort provided from the advisor and professors with setting up externships, internships, and future jobs in the field of sport management. I advised future students to research the job placement and average wage rate of previous gruaduates, the college they plan to attend. "Excuse me, I nearly forgot". Ask the college or university if they have a mentoring program for their students.
