It was extremely technical and the reason for this is because they want you to be able to repeat your work or art. If I would not have gone to such a challenging school, I do not feel my high standards or successes would be as great as they are today. Upon my graduation I moved to San Francisco and trained under every professional photographer I could find for another 4 years. This was training I felt I needed above and beyond my Brooks degree. I also drove to LA for internships while being a student that gave me terrific connections as an assistant upon my graduation. I am now a successful photographer and cinematographer in the Midwest. I feel I was given the proper tools and trained by the best in the business at Brooks Institute. They prepared me for what to expect in the real world and showed me they cared while doing it. |
