Great curriculum overall, very focused on purely business. In comparison to other schools BBA curriculum one will see that GH students are already focusing in first year, on what are second year courses in many other schools. That being said however some people feel the actual marking/coursework is easier at GH than at other schools. While it does not take much effort to attain an average of 70, the type effort required to consistently achieve grades of 80+ is sufficient and generally only the top 10% of any graduating year will consistently score above 82. This however could be a function of a fair amount of the students at this school being of lower quality than that which may be found at other university's. This will hopefully work itself out as the BBA program reaches capacity and admissions standards are then raised. Overall after talking to BBA's from other schools regarding their experiences throughout their undergrad as well as employers I am quite confident my time at Guelph-Humber has adequately prepared me for the labour market. |
