Statistical Analyzer:

Based on things I have seen and heard at other colleges and universities and my experience at Aims, I think it is one of the best schools one could attend! Student success is the first priority and it shows in the types of resources available to students. A perfect depiction of this attitude is the recent supplemental instruction program. Students who have succeeded in a difficult course, such as calculus, economics, physics etc, are given a chance to take a paid position to retake the same course and lead out of class group tutoring. Because the supplemental instructor is a current student who had taken the course before and is participating in the class again, it is an excellent way to give added assistance in difficult subjects. Aims also makes better use of internet and smart board technology than any school I have heard about! I have friends from UNC, CSU, DU, Westwood and others and all have been quite impressed a how effectively Aims makes use of classroom technology. The tuition rates are superb as well! Aims is only a two year college and I am currently transfering to a university (don't want to, I'm moving) but I am seriously concerned about whether the quality of education at any university can really stack up to that of Aims. Aims provides a challenging and stimulating environment for people of all capabilities and all walks of life! They even offer a high school diploma program (NOT a GED, a real diploma). I have never known ANYONE to have anything bad to say about Aims. Anyone considering Aims should stop considering and just DO IT! You will not be sorry!!
