I went to Michigan State since many of my friends from high school were going there, and I had expected it to be four of the best years of my life. Well, the social aspect of the university is not what I had a problem with. First of all, the campus is so spread out, that I had to schedule my classes with at least a half hour to forty-five minutes in between to allow myself travel time to my next class. Essentially, I day of five classes would take a total of eight hours. Secondly, the professors here are awful. I have yet to have a professor that can even pretend to care about a student…they're only care is either their status or their bell-curve. To those that are looking at going to a school in the state of Michigan, my advice would be to look at U of M, Central, Wayne, etc. From what I here from friends at those universities, their experiences has been the antithesis of mine at MSU. |
