The DLP program is exceptional and I am finding it to be quite intellectually challanging. As a psychology major I have found the classes and texts used in DLP to be secular and science-based… there are some papers that are asked for from a christian perspective, but the learning (in DLP) leans more toward secular flavor, and the texts are strictly secular (Psychology 8ed and The Developing Person Through the Lifespan, 6ed both by Worth Publishers)There are some religious based classes that are required.. but I found them to be interesting and in depth and informative… The professors are prompt and very helpful in their replies.. the DLP format is easy and efficient.. I have found the classes to be very challanging, and they are more apt to require critical thinking over memorization.. As a DLP student I recommend LU DLP to anyone regardless of whether they are christian or not.. Cost is low.. $250 a credit hour and I have been given all the finacial aid that I needed.. The DLP classes are intensive as they are in a 8 week format, and self discipline is a must.. but the sub terms help to break up the work load in a nice way.. |
