The main flaw of PCT, for any guys at least, is definitely the gender ratio. The student population is literally 66% guys and this leads to a very piss poor dating scene. This translates to 2 guys for every 1 girl and because of this all the college events and parties were always sausage fests. Most of the people I befriended, while I was there, had similar issues with this school and many, like me, ended up going elsewhere on the weekends or our days off to meet people or party. I eventually became fed up of spending my only college years and hard earned money at this very isolated and quiet college and ultimately transferred to Penn State Main, which I was visiting every chance I got anyway. How well you will like this school all boils down to what type of person you are and what you want out of your college experience. If you are a shy person who isn't really looking to party or meet anyone then this place is definitely for you, as you will have all the time in the world to study, focus on your schoolwork, and/or play video games in a relatively quite peaceful environment. However, if you are even only a remotely social person/occasional partier that wants to meet a lady or two you will ultimately grow very bored of this place very quickly, as you can get a lot more for your money, both socially and academically, with Penn State Main or a similar institution. |
