In my opinion, they want the world to fall at their feet once they've graduated. Well, that is not the real world for people who are not lazy and are ambitious. You must be achievement oriented to attend Walden, which means you have to get off you duff and go out and produce other accomplishments after you graduate. The Walden degree works for the achievement oriented individual who goes into the world to make a difference. For the individual that wants a degree to just get a job or better pay, Walden may not be your best choice. But, for the individual who expects to have a long life of accomplishments, Walden should be one of the stops along your journey of many stops. Since I graduated from Walden with a PhD, I have been a guest on radio talk shows, I have been published, I have completed studies at two major Ivy League universities, I have become a senior level executive, and I am frequently asked to be a guest panelist at university conferences. The Walden degree works for the driven ambitious individual who knows that he/she has to go out in the world and generate his/her own opportunitites! Walden University's degrees will work in amazing ways as time goes by - trust me on that one! |
