There are billions of things to do on campus and in LA, tons of student groups, the food is excellent, and the campus, in my opinion, is the most beautiful in the country. The sports teams are amazing. No one at UCLA is going to come up to you and help you get on your way after orientation, though. At UCLA you have to be pro-active and really look out for yourself. I.E., it's basically the real world (-) you get to live in one of the gorgeous and opportunity-laden places ever. Academically, the school is difficult if you take a difficult major- but this can be avoided if you wish. Competition is relatively high, but unlike some other schools, people here aren't snooty and will gladly help you. |
