In between having a horrible roommate my freshman year, a professor that threatened to fail me for no apparent reason even after TA's said my work was great, tripping on stairs almost every day, and mugged off campus in Westwood, I do not recommend UCLA to everyone. I know there are several people who had great experiences, and by all means, UCLA is a decent, solid university. I urge you to do your research before choosing a university, talk to different people, get a feel for the campus, and also learn what best suits you. Who knows, maybe UCLA will be a great choice. For me, it just hasn't been a good experience(Though that is not necessarily the school's fault). Please look around before you choose. |
