As a lot of people have already said, if you are an out of state student, the social life will probably suck. i didn't know 1 person at USF and most people I encountered were very stand off ish/stuck up/weird and not willing to make new friends at all. If you want the whole "college experience" go somewhere else. Everyone leaves on the weekends and the campus is almost always dead. My best advice to new out of state students is join as many clubs/intramural sports as possible. But the bottom line is, USF is not an exciting place to live at all.
