It's not for everyone. You have to be feircly independent and be able to thrive in an enviroment where no one is going to be holding your hand. NYU is charecter building, simply put. If you can thrive here, you can thrive anywhere. Acadmics are excellent and resources are in abundance. Most profs are top notch—the best of the best. If you try and get a good education out of NYU, you will. In terms of social life there is tons to do. NYU offers everything from dorm parties to clubs, bars, whatever you want. That being said, you have to have major money to party here and going out gets expensive. Dont expect a social life to come find you, you have to go make friends, network, and make one for yourself.I personally cant wait to come back to NYU next year. Ive had the best year of my entire life! I love it here and I dont think I will ever leave the city, theres nothing like it. |
