Fordham is, in most regards, a wonderful school. What I perceive to be the best thing about Fordham is the collective sense of community. Truly, I saw most of the same people day in and day out, and felt like I was in a much smaller school. Pick your faculty carefully, and try and avoid graduate students. Every registration period, I deliberately choose the best professors available, not matter the date or time of the class. In my opinion, a great professor can make a dull class (like Faith and Critical Reason, a Freshman Core) a life changing experience. As with most big changes in life, people should approach entering college with an open mind. If you do, Fordham will return the favor and you will love it. |
