LMU is strong community and has a prestine campus. I really love LMU. I transfered from another university and I was completley surprised. Someone else on here compared it to UCLA saying it was not to the same standard. The truth is LMU is not UCLA and they cannot be compared. It is a very small school of 5,000 students. It is out of the way but still in the city. If you want a small campus life but the excitment of L.A. than LMU is great. It's not a party school, but it is Catholic (but still very diverse) so that means there is often a beer garden. True many students are conservative (but still like to have fun and throw parties), but they are all also very polite and approachable. Most people are very motivated and involved in some sort of club or organization. Some one commented that service organizations are hard to get into, and this is very true. The greek life is very large and even more people apply to the service organizations so they are very selective. But there are also TONS of ways to participate in community service activities. It is a very productive atmosphere for motivated individuals. |
