Because of its size, it has abundant resources. The first couple of semesters make you feel like just a number, lost in the shuffle, but by the sophomore or junior year, class sizes become smaller and more intimate. Professors are generally friendly and helpful. Being taught by grad students can have mixed results. Lower level math/science classes are often taught by grad students whose understanding of English is quite subpar. This can be frustrating, but these classes usually aren't too difficult. |
