Before coming to Full Sail I had attended the Art Institute of Seattle where I majored in Video Production. I have to say that Full Sail was a wonderful school. A lot of people complain about the accredition of Full Sail, but they are wrong. It is true that none of the credits will transfer to a four year school, but your degree is in film or recording so they wouldn't tranfers to regular school anyway. The teachers at Full Sail were very helpful and friendly and the same goes for the students. I am from a very small town in Virginia and I was a little worried about living in an area like Winter Park, but after about a week I had a met a ton of new people and we were all getting along great. The hours at Full Sail can be rough. Sometimes between class and labs we would be there more than 12 hours at a time, but it's well worth it. I learned so much at this school that I never would have at another. We used up-to-date equipment that is actually used in the industry. All in all I loved Full Sail and I would reccomend it to anyone interested in film. Do not listen to the complainers. If you love film then this school is the place to be. It's hard at time but mostly fun, so enjoy it. |
