Statistical Analyzer:

I am a construction management major and I am in my second year at UH. I am apart of the Honors College and so far have had a great experience at the University of Houston. The Honors College helps you meet a lot of people and for me has given my college experience a different touch than what I thought it would be. My classes are smaller but I still get to be apart of a large school and go to class on a beautiful campus. The honors college not only introduces you to people but allows you to make friends because a lot of honors students hang out in the lounge, which allows for an open environment to discuss, do hw, tell jokes, and just relax. Every professor I have had from the Honors College has be exceptional and always willing to help. The Honors classes are more challenging and cause you to be surrounded by people that have a greater desire to learn and better themselves. I have had some normal university classes and they for the most part have went well. I had one TA for my chemistry lab that didn't speak english well, but after a week or so I could understand his accent and after that everything went smooth. I haven't met a professor I didn't like and my basic core classes have actually been interesting. The best part about the core classes I have taken is that they weren't with 4,000 other kids in the same room like at some of the much bigger schools. For the most part UH is a great school and has the resources here to offer anyone a great education. University of Houston has its quarks just like A&M and Texas do, but academically it's on the same level as those two schools and on some aspects might be better. UH isn't as selective as the other schools, but there are still a lot of people that attend that have brilliant minds and are interesting to meet and talk to. UH has a lot to offer and is a fantastic school, no its not perfect, but what school is?
