I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Capella in 06 and I am still struggling to compete in this unforgivable job market of today. Im in the Information Technology field specialized in networking. I suggest to anyone dont get this degree all it did for me was learn the MS Office suite and had me study the same books you would go get for the following certifications: A+, Net+, MCSE Server 2000 & 2003 along with other courses that were there but didnt really deliver in terms of getting your answers checked. I never was given a final in any of my courses. Another thing I could tell you if you do go for this degree that you must take the certifications when youre done with the course. Think of that being your final exam. Even though Capella wont spend your financial aid $ on a measly $125 certification that employers now have more faith in, other than your online degree.Just my 2 cents.
