I truly despise Marist college as far as the individuals who attend the school are concerned. I was in between schools and kinda got suckered by my family into going there. I hated it from the moment I attended, but the only way for me to get financial assistance from my family was to go there. I don't know how else I could have afforded to go to college as it is difficult to get a loan on one's own. There is only one type of student at Marist; upper middle class rich kids. The are mostly conservative and if you are the littlest bit different from them, you will not have many friends. These people are dense, alcoholic, materialistic individuals who reply to what I just typed would beYou're just jealous. The saving grace for me is the history professors. They are all extremely intelligent and helpful. If it wasn't for faculty, I would have quit a long time ago. If you are close-minded and conservative, this is the school for you. If not, run. Run for your lives! I will never miss this college once I leave. |
