16 years after graduation and I am still in the computer arts field (I majored in computer graphics). Lots of seeds were planted during my undergraduate years and I was given room to explore issues of identity politics, community organizing, and education, all of which helped me create a path for myself in graduate school and beyond.

I currently teach foundation year art and have come to really appreciate the level of instruction I received at Pratt, as a freshman. I was a national talent search recipient and came in on the final round of full tuition scholarships. The faculty in my foundation year also selected my portfolio for the talent search. They really gave a damn and set the bar high which helped me tremendously. I was treated like an asset and they expected a return for their investment in me. I graduated with honors.
