You know after reading a lot of these comments about Western Michigan University, I must save that I disagree with most of them. The University is seriously a beacon of light in Southwest Michigan. Sure there were some problems with the operational aspect of the University but this is normal at any university. My professors were incredibly approachable and also respectful. You have to build that relationship with them and not only go to them when you're in a bind. These are people also and for the most part they're pretty reasonable. The facilities in the Res Halls are slightly outdated, but remember you didn't go to this university for great housing, you went to get an education. I'd rather have great educators than incredibly beautiful housing. The University is expanding in every direction you look and new building have been erected everywhere almost. Check out the new arts building…gotta give it to them on this one.
