Shasta College is an absolute joke. Anyone interested in academe, thought process, the individual, history, evolution, progress, or the very concept of higher education should stay away. Granted, there are professors like Maro Lee and Randy Reed who rock. Then there are "professors" who don't know what an essay is.

The studentry is comprised of junior college mannequins—disinterested and self-absorbed fucktards who spend the class period texting their insignificant other. Mentioning Decartes, Francis Bacon, Ayn Rand, Karl Marx, or any champion of reason earns the title of "elitist." The school has an 18% success rate for a reason.

Know, before enrolling, that Shasta is not a college. It is a JC meant to keep students from transferring to overwhelmed CSUs and UCs. Best of luck to those who get stuck in this hell hole.
