STATEMENT OF ACCREDITATION

Brooks Institute is an accredited member of the Accrediting Council for Independent

Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). You may visit the ACICS website at www.acics.org for more information.

At this time, Brooks Institute is seeking to obtain regional accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Below is the approved statement we are allowed to post in publication and on our website (www.brooks.edu):

"Brooks Institute has applied for Eligibility from the Senior College Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. WASC has reviewed the application and determined that Brooks Institute is eligible to proceed with an application for Candidacy for Accreditation. A determination of Eligibility is not a formal status with the Accrediting Commission, nor does it assure eventual accreditation; it is a preliminary finding that the institution is potentially accreditable and can proceed within three years of its Eligibility determination to be reviewed for Candidacy status with the Accrediting Commission."
