I'm not exactly in a sorority, but i've had no trouble making friends and putting myself out there to meet new people. There's plenty of friendly people here, you just have to take the initiative. The thing i really don't like is that there really is not that much to do on the weekends. Many of my friends will end up going home for the weekend. I'm not saying every weekend is dead, but half the time there's really not much to do, unless you're of age. My best advice to you is to make a trip up there and walk around, just to experience it for yourself. It really is a love or hate relationship, depending on what you're into. Personally, I love the campus and the people yet if you're going to school to get wasted all the time, this isn't the place for you. Also, watch out for the campus police, they're determined. |
