Some days it sucks but that's college. The weather and snow are probably the biggest downfall, but welcome to northern,NY. Even the snow has it's benefits, for instance canceled classed and cheap planned ski trips. Dorm living here really is not to bad. You will meet a lot of people you will probably be really good friends with or at least be entertained by. Its nice to know that by living on campus you only have to wake up a few minutes before your first class because its just up the hill. I'm in a sorority here and the social life here is pretty lively. If your not someone who likes to go out and party then you might nit enjoy it so much. There will always be people in the dorms playing all sorts of video games and guitar hero, you can always go to the tick tock and dance if that is your thing or join a club sports team. The school itself really is not that bad. They do expect you to keep your grades up and go to class or you will get kicked out. It's a small friendly campus where you can walk in the halls have conversations and see familiar faces, yet there is still some unknown. |
