I have never had to stuggle in a school like this before. There were no tutors available. The instructors were unapproachable. If they did speak to you it was either very negative or condescending. The nursing program thinks that a 50% failure rate is acceptable. They did not even want to respond to the school faculty outside of the nursing program when questioned about their practices. They fed the state board of nursing and few people to represent all of us and told the rest of us not to be around or talk about anything if the state did ask us questions. The feeling that most of the students have is that we are set up for failure. If I had things to do over again, I would visit with several people from the prior class to get an honest opinion. I have been a multi-million dollar real estate agent, licensed in 2 states, been in charge of million dollar companies as well as being a banker, so I am sure I have the intelligence for the nursing program. I passed all of the entrance tests, and my clinical patients are satisfied with my performance, so the issue is why are the instructures not willing to help if there are questions????? If you are thinking about school here, please ask the STUDENTS a lot of questions and get real feedback. |
