The University of Houston is a fabulous place to obtain your degree. The career placement services at this school are second to none. My fellow students in electrical engineering all had jobs before we graduated (even some who were international students who required working visas, etc…).

Where else in Texas can you attend a University in such a large city with multiple employment and intern possibilities that are presented to you as options while you attend your classes? It has great research and employment relationships with a huge number of corporations and fortune 500 companies in this city. I had multiple high paying job offers a year before my graduation.

I wont say the experience was easy, but it was 100% worth it. If you plan to come here and take engineering… plan to work very hard. The course work is rigorous and requires discipline, and a strong work ethic.

If you plan to go to school here in Texas I cant recommend The University of Houston enough to you. You will be given opportunities for work experience and a future career that cant be duplicated at any other school in Texas.
