I try to live without regrets but after 5 years here I feel like I missed out on a huge part of life. You won't get the traditional college experience here; this is good and bad… but the social experiences here are just miserable. You a guy?? Good luck with the love life. The girls here are either HUGE, Lesbians, or taken [because they all grew up in hick towns and think you need to be engaged at 20]. And socializing in general; there's not much to do around Boone, the night life is pretty piss-poor. The biggest problem is the people; don't believe the hype that Appy is Happy. It may be full of weed; but its full of assholes too. You get kids who grew up in podunks who think they're big shots because they were big fish in their little puddles… and it's just sad. This place is soaked in pretension and I CAN'T WAIT TO LEAVE.
