Deciding to come to Santa Barbara for school was probably the worst decision I have ever made. Everybody here is either is pathetic. You can't make real friends here everyone is always too stoned or drunk to even have a personality, not to mention any chances of having a relationship up here are impossible as your partner either has a std or has already cheated on you. The town sucks! there is nothing here! IV is just a rat infested craphole and the town of santa barbara is all spanish style buildings with a ton of hobos who alaways try to take your cigarettes. Now don't get me wrong theres some people up here who absolutley love it but if you have any doubts about it up here at all DON'T COME HERE! I cant believe how many people I've met who got into very prestigious universities and decided to come to UCSB it blows my mind. But in my opinion this place SUCKS!!!!
