Since the school is small with about 2,000 to 3,000 students everybody knows everybody. Football is big even though it is a d3 school. There are alot of opportunities for students to get involved with sports and clubs. with all that said the school's night life is none existent and there is no Greek life at all. The school is located in the middle no where with no clubs or bars.. but JMU is about 10 min away so most students go to Harrisonburg during the weekend or go home. The academics at Bridgewater is excellent professors really care about their students, some even give their home phone number so students could reach them if they need any thing. Some of the down side of the college other than the lack of a night life and that traditional college experiences is how conservative the student body is and the over whelming pressure of religion on the student body.. well i transfered out because i was looking for a traditional college experience and due to the high tuition at Bridgewater. |
