The IE department at Purdue is definately been declining. I don't know how good the other universities are, but I expected a lot better education from a school in the top ten. The course work that has any real difficulty has been made so that student don't really have to try. Good faculties has been steadily leaving the university and I expect the ranking to go down soon.
