This place is amazing. I grew up always knowing I would go to Univ. of Iowa, I came on a visit here and instantly changed my mind and decided to come to UNI. The athletics are intense and fun, school spirit is really good, very safe campus, amazing food, and there is a lot to do. If you are a party person their are parties and bars, if you are not then there are plenty of activities on the weekends and around the city to occupy yourself with as well. The classes are challenging but do not give much homework, when homework is given it is worth while. The faculty is really nice and friendly, many faculty members are on a first name basis with their students instead of the formal Dr. and Mr/Ms so and so. I love my classes here, tests do not have irrelevant material on them that was never talked about, and the teachers do a wonderful job making sure students know what is going to be on the exam. I highly recommend coming here, it is an amazing place.
