Ugh! I know I shouldn't reply to other reviews, but there are a few negative reviews on this site that are obviously posted by JMU students. One reviewer wrote that "there is absolutely nothing to do on campus. That was a blessing for me though, because I spent virtually all my time studying and therefore got a 4.0… which made it easier to transfer out of that hellhole." This is the same review that was posted on JMU's site! This comment is meant for JMU and not Mason! So please take my advice, GMU is a terrific school. I have two degrees in English (BA and MA). Professors are respected throughout the academic community—outside of Mason—and are leading minds in their disciplines. I am posting this reply to warn students that some negative comments are coming from students who DON'T attend Mason. |
