academically, students that got C- in high school tend to like it here most because they do very well. The brighter students tend to feel that it's too easy.

Psychology, Cross Cultural, & Biblical majors are the higher quality majors with the better resources & pretty much the most 'tended to' by the school. I made a mistake by coming here because they had the major I wanted. Unfortunately, their program in it was poor. Musical Theater, Communications, French, Spanish, dance, graphic design, & athletic training are at the lower end.

One thing we all know of is about some things that fly under the radar with the administration. Stuff you don't really know until you're a student.

1. The amount of drug use with students, experimenting

One problem I know of is that there are a handful of students SELLING their adderol & add medication to people to get high off of. West palm has a big drug problem & the students are involved too. Marijuana & cocaine arent hard to find. I see this as a problem but the administrative & amnesty offices only seem to focus on "alcohol!!" something that most students do for fun, but can get punished for even one drink.

2. Eating disorders. Sure, there's Eating disorder awareness week - but there are truly NO resources other than pamphlets for students to grab. West palm is a very rich area with very thin women & cut men. So many girls are engaging in Over exercise, body image issues, vomiting, fasting - worrying. a lot of guys spend unhealthy amount of time lifting, eating Whey protein, and taking muscle enhancers. The school seems to care more about

Staying Pure, kids! wait until marriage!

The problem with their amnesty program - they pick & choose how to punish you.

If you are caught having smoked marijuana, even if you came forward to turn yourself in, you will be suspended & sent home. Zero drug policy.

If you are found out having sex, you and your partner must comply (or just you) with seeing a counselor.

The thing I disagree with is how they pick & choose how to punish what. I hated seeing a classmate feel so guilty about smoking pot for the first time, turn himself in to get counseling then get sent home that week.

This school is great if you're looking to coast through college. Not for me.
