Statistical Analyzer:

VCU is now the largest state school in VA, but it doesn't feel that way on campus. VCU is a spread out urban college campus. If you prefer a small closed in college campus VCU is not it. I enjoy the urban atmosphere and walking to my classes. Depending on your major most of your classes will be in a certain area so it's not like you'll be running all over Richmond. I have had amazing professors so far that really care about their students and what they're teaching those students. The school of world studies is readily available to its students and offers helpful advising sessions if you make an appointment. I would say one of the only negative things is the parking, since it is an urban campus street parking is horrible and most people park in a parking garage. Some people get frustrated with graduation requirements and administration of various departments but that is mostly because students are not keeping up with what is due and what they need to take, etc. Overall I have greatly enjoyed my experience at VCU and am now headed toward graduate school, which I feel entirely prepared to thanks to the school of world studies and religious studies department.
