Most of Mason's recent propaganda about our selection as the

#1 up and coming school
is a lie. US News and World Report still ranks us as a third tier school (which is overly generous). GMU charges out of state students more in tuition after financial aid than any other university in VA, including top-ranked UVA and William and Mary. Just over half of Mason students ever graduate and the average student takes six years! Students are generally treated as though they were less than human. The faculty and staff are not treated much better. DO NOT go to Mason. NOVA is cheaper and more prestigious.
